What are dynamic buoys?

Bouees Dyn ???
Géolocalisation R.png

A dynamic buoy is a geostationary platform.

It locates itself thanks to satellite positioning & uses an electric motor to stay in position.

They can be used to mark any position at sea.

Its superstructure allows it to be visible from afar.

Why use dynamic buoys?

Whereever.png

Position a buoy anywhere

No moorings required allowing you to install a buoy in any type of seabed without worrying about depth or topography.

No impact on the seabed

Installation possible even in areas where surface navigation is authorized but not anchorage.

Responsiveness and precision

Lay perfect courses and reposition them effortlessly in a few minutes to the nearest meter.

Reduced & simplified logistics on the water

Reduce the amount of heavy equipement needed to lay race courses & choose from a wider pool of "mark layers" as less competences are required to deploy the system

* Based on lithium-ion technology, Lithium Iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology offers many advantages over lithium ion and lead:

Safe technology - the battery cannot catch fire or explode if overcharged

Over 2,000 discharge cycles, compared to 300 lead-acid battery cycles

Very low self-discharge rate

Can be used in all orientations

Can be recharged quickly - 90% of full charge capacity in 15 minutes

High thermal stability of LiFePO4 phases up to 70 ° C
